BT Sport will show Arsenal against Man City in the English Cup semi-final

We have reached the end of the business of the world’s oldest football competition and BT Sport are delighted to announce their selection for the semifinals.

Arsenal take over Manchester City for a place in the FA Cup final live exclusively on BT Sport on Saturday 18 July with the kick-off scheduled for 7.45pm.

The pair will clash in Wembley for the third time in three years after the meetings in 2017 FA Cup semifinal and 2018 League Cup the final.

Arsenal won the previous 2-1 semifinal and went on to defeat Chelsea in the final, but remains the last time they have passed the City.

Since then, City has won seven out of seven against The Gunners, including a comfortable 3-0 win in both teams’ first game since Etihad restarted earlier this month.

Mikel Arteta will be desperate to provide a better account of his team when he confronts his mentor Pep Guardiola in the home of football.

The city is the owners who destroyed Watford 6-0 in last season’s final and saw Port Vale, Fulham, Sheffield Wednesday and out Newcastle to do the last four.

Arsenal meanwhile defeated Leeds, Bournemouth, Portsmouth and Sheffield United – through a dramatic last minute winner Dani Ceballos – to qualify.

Northern Londoners are the most successful team in the history of the FA Cup with 13 titles to their name, but they will have to turn the odds around once again to get a 14-shotth.

The other semifinal presents the 2016 winners Manchester United against Chelsea, winner of 2018.

You can watch the game live exclusively on BT Sport 1 and BT Sport Ultimate on TV and on our digital platforms – BTSport.com, the BT Sport app and the big screen app.
