Ravens fans have certainly taken note of Marquise Brown’s off-season work ethic, and it now looks like the same for another first-round receiver.
After Brown posted a picture of him in a Ravens helmet, Broncos rookie Jerry Jeudy couldn’t help but react to the first muscle gains after his first season in Baltimore.
Brown solidified as a key player in the Ravens’ passing attack as a rookie with 584 yards and seven touchdowns. Baltimore’s plan didn’t rely as much on deep ball as the running game or mid passes for three talented tight ends, but when Lamar Jackson wanted to stretch the field, Brown was his guy.
The Oklahoma product entered the league at 170 pounds, and although it is not clear what it weighs now, it should have less problem with press coverage and become a more complete receiver.

Head coach John Harbaugh believes Jackson can take the next step as a quarterback and threaten the defenses on the field more often, a step that would unlock another aspect of an already explosive offense. Jackson has a lot to do with this stage in his development, but Brown certainly can’t help improving his game.
