Black left Utrecht for a year-long guest visit to Twente

The striker Václav Černý left Utrecht for a one-year guest appearance at Twente Enschede. The former Ajax Amsterdam player will try a third club in the Dutch league. Twente reported on its website.

“I am very happy to play for Twente, I want to win a seat in the team. A pleasant debate with coach Ron Jans gave me confidence.” quoted the Black Club website.

“I know Twente well, I’ve been working in the Netherlands for six years. I scored the first league goal with Twente, which was a special moment for me. The club has a beautiful stadium with a great atmosphere. Great players played here. I’m really looking forward to it.” said the 22-year-old Příbram offspring.

Twente technical director Jan Streuer is also pleased with his arrival. “Václav is technically equipped and very fast. He can play in front on both sides. He is a very attractive player for the fans,” said Streuer.

Černý came to Ajax at the age of 16 at the turn of 2013 and 2014. In the famous Dutch club, he joined the renowned youth academy and in August 2015 made his A-team debut. In the fall of 2017, however, he tore a ligament in his knee and did not play for 11 months. In the following season, he started for the first team in only three cup duels, otherwise he worked in reserve. In total, he scored four goals and six assists for Ajax in 29 competitive matches.

Last July, he moved to Utrecht, with which he signed a three-year contract with an option. For the club, he entered 19 competitive matches last year and scored two goals.

“I didn’t succeed, that’s just true. I don’t paint it in pink, I’ve never done it, but I say objectively that it wasn’t always my fault. Some people around me just saw some things differently. But I accept it.” Black told the website of the Nehoda Sport agency, which represents him.

“I just experienced nice but also bad things in football and I try to look at everything realistically. Admit guilt or just be able to judge it. I’m going to fight it in Twente. I’m glad I’m here and it depends on me what you I’ll do it here, “ stated the former youth representative.

According to him, Twente is a traditional club that has not been successful lately. “But damn it, I can get a chance, I’m probably the hungrier in my career. There’s a new sports director, the club has already accepted that in the beginning there will be a lot of hosting, which also applies to me. From next year it would probably start building something own, “ said Black.

The Dutch league, like the Belgian and French leagues, did not complete due to the coronavirus pandemic. While Utrecht finished sixth in the prematurely finished year, Twente took 14th place.
