Suppose two things end right away: there will be an NBA 2020-21 season and the Warriors will use the mid-level exception for taxpayers (estimated around $ 6 million) in free agency.
Now that we have removed it, we can ask the question: Is Denver Nuggets forward Paul Millsap is a realistic option with that MLE point?
The 35-year-old striker is about to conclude the $ 90 million three-year contract he signed in 2017. He can definitely secure a bigger payday, right?

Millsap – who averages 12.0 points and 5.9 rebounds in 24.4 minutes per game this season – would provide incredible flexibility in the attacking zone and give Kerr a plethora of training options.
The choice n. 47 in the 2006 NBA Draft is scoring 44 percent of the best 3 point career this season and 83.3 percent of the career from the free throw line.
He is still an excellent defender, although Eric Paschall may disagree:

Hey, speaking of the general choice n. 41 in the 2019 draft – you may be of the idea that the Warriors don’t need Millsap because they already have Paschall (and Draymond Green for that matter). But don’t forget that the 2017 defender of the year may end up recording more minutes in the center, which opens up many opportunities for power forward.

Also, sometimes Paschall could switch to the small forward (although he certainly prefers to play the “four”). In addition, Golden State can carve out more minutes for the Villanova product by stimulating Millsap, which would almost certainly come off the bench.
Yours is really a big supporter of Paschall. Will adding Millsap likely impact his role next season? Yes. But Paschall should still be an important contributor on a nightly basis. He is certainly capable, even if nothing will be delivered to him.
“Most players really see a big jump at the start of their career once they have settled down and have a solid year behind them. I’m looking for a big jump for some of our younger players to the point where they can enter our rotation, “said Kerr in early June. “Who it is depends on them.
“They have to earn it next year in the field and in the exhibition season. But that’s what we’re really looking for.”

Millsap will also launch a golf academy under the umbrella of CORE4, a state-of-the-art prep school and basketball training facility that he co-founded with his three brothers in Atlanta.
“Golf is definitely a growing sport and I want to be part of adding diversity to that sport,” Millsap told BE. “Many black people don’t know much about it or are afraid of getting involved.”
If this whole Millsap-Warriors thing comes true, he and Steph will have plenty of time to get to know each other on the Bay Area’s fairways and greens.
