London calling? Five facts about Kai Havertz

Kai Havertz will probably leave Bayer Leverkusen in the summer. The 21-year-old is coveted in Europe’s top leagues and set two records in the past season.

The departure of Kai Havertz from the Bundesliga is becoming more and more concrete, according to a media report. Accordingly, Chelsea FC is preparing a multi-million dollar offer. With the transfer fee Leverkusen should accommodate the English.

BAt Chelsea FC a German axis could soon be on the grass. In addition to Antonio Rüdiger and Timo Werner, Kai Havertz will probably also play for the Londoners in the future.

As “The Athletic” reports, the blues are apparently the only club that could meet the transfer demands from Bayer Leverkusen. The report also says Havertz is pushing for a quick decision.

It is expected that Chelsea will shortly make an offer of up to 80 million euros. This should also include some bonus payments. The transfer would initially be around 65 to 70 million euros and increase if successful.

The numbers are a bit surprising, as Bayer officials have communicated openly in the past that they want to collect at least 100 million for the 21-year-old offensive player. It remains open whether the Leverkusen club management around sports director Rudi Völler has lowered their demands.

Bavaria flashed with offer

FC Bayern has also been repeatedly associated with an obligation from Havertz. According to “The Athletic” the record champion failed with an offer. After the transfer from Leroy Sané, the Munich team should only have been willing to pay a lower sum this summer. The balance should follow next summer.
