BARCELONA is reportedly ready to lend Arsenal Samuel Umtiti’s goal this summer.
The Spanish sports outlet claims that the French central defender is not part of Barca’s future plans.
And Umtiti will be authorized to leave on loan in order to conclude a permanent agreement in 2021.
The 26-year-old ex-Lyon man spent four years in Barcelona and won two titles.
However, Umtiti was plagued with injuries during his time at Camp Nou and made only 77 appearances for La Liga.
In comparison, Gerard Pique made 124 league appearances at the same time.

And Umtiti has now found himself playing the second violin with his compatriot Clement Lenglet.
But Barca wants to sign a brand new central defender this summer as they look set to lose the title against Real Madrid’s rivals.
Lenglet or Pique take the bench, which means that there is no future for Umtiti in Catalonia.
Arsenal is a long-term admirer of the accident and would certainly jump to the possibility of loaning it.
They have struggled behind this season and have been forced to keep the likes of David Luiz and Pablo Mari due to the lack of transfer funds.
Manchester United has also been linked, while Chelsea has not hidden their interest.
An optional fee for a permanent deal next year makes it even more tempting for suitors to come forward.
Umtiti is just one of nine players that Barcelona are hoping to get rid of in the coming months as they try to strengthen the team with new signings – including Inter striker Lautaro Martinez.
