The Arizona Cardinals released 10 players before training camp began, the team announced on Sunday.

On the offensive side of football, the team have freed quarterback Drew Anderson, linemen Jackson Dennis and Drew Dickinson, tight end Parker Houston and receivers Shane Leatherbury and Devin Phelps.

Anderson has seen the most time with the squad outside the squad, having played for the practice squad last season. It was also bred to the active roster last year, but didn’t take a snap.

Pegged as the fourth starter behind Kyler Murray, Brett Hundley and Chris Streveler, Anderson was an odd man when it came to cuts.

Defensively, the Cardinals cut ties with linebacker Vontarrius Dora, lineman TJ Carter and cornerbacks Jarren Williams and Bejour Wilson.

Dora played three games for Arizona in 2018, recording three tackles, two QB hits and one pass deflection. He also spent time on the team’s practice squad.

Dora had appeared in only one game with the Denver Broncos in 2016 before her stint with the Cardinals.
