In Russia, Dacuk returned in the 2016.17 season, but previously spent 14 seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL) team in Detroit’s “Red Wings”. During this time, he managed to experience two NHL lockouts, so he had returned to KHL for a while.
In his return season (2016/17), Dacjuk won the Gagarin Cup with the St. Petersburg SKA. A year later, he was on the Russian Olympic athletes’ national team, triumphing in the Olympic Games.
After this success, Dacjuk entered the famous “Triple Gold” club – he won a gold medal at the World Championships and the Olympics, as well as the Stanley Cup over his head.

During his career, Dacuks received the NHL Gentleman’s Award and was recognized as the best defense type striker. He won the Stanley Cup with the Red Wings in 2001/02. and in the 2007/08 season.
