Highlights: Rocket Mortgage Classic Round 3

The 2020 Rocket Mortgage Classic was fantastic through 54 holes, and not necessarily because of a star field but more because of the potential discovery of compelling stories as the final 18 holes end. In 2019, the event had an eventful debut since substitute Nate Lashley won the tournament and Monday qualifier Doc Redman finished second. We have the potential for further drama next weekend with contenders scattered across the field.
After three rounds of action, the top of the leader board is crowded with Matthew Wolff three shots ahead of Bryson DeChambeau and Ryan Armor. Sunday’s winner will likely come from Wolff or DeChambeau, although they won’t play together in the final round. Other big names are lurking both of them should waver, but the Rocket Mortgage Classic is there to be taken for those two.
