What Arsenal fans can expect from Emil Roback after the striker travels to London for a training visit

Hammarby explorer Mikael Hjelmberg explained what Arsenal supporters can expect from Emil Roback after it was confirmed that the teenage attacker visited the Gunners’ training camp.

The 16-year-old striker drew interest from both Arsenal and Bayern Munich, with sports director Hammarby Jesper Jansson admitting that the Swedish club faces a battle to resist the high-ranking teenager.

“We have been contacted and are aware of the interest,” he said to the Swedish outlet Fotboll Direkt, via Sport Witness.

“He also met Arsenal. There is a strong interest and there are also more clubs.

“He was also at Arsenal. Yes, I understand the interest. He is a striker with exceptional physique and speed and already an expert scorer.”

When asked if Hammarby was contacted directly by both clubs, he said, “Yes, we have.”

Hjelmberg, who works as a talent observer for the Allsvenskan club, also said goodbye to Roback in view of a potential move to England or Germany.

“Emil is a striker with a very good physique. He has extreme speed and is a natural marker.”

Elsewhere, Roback’s potential arrival could fill the void created by the likely departure of the young striker Folarin Balogun.

The Arsenal Academy graduate is ready to leave the club after failing to agree on the terms for a new contract.
