Lightweight UFC Kingpin Jon Jones checked in at MDC on Friday, according to KRQE News 13 Albuquerque.

According to the report, ‘Bones’ started earlier today to serve its four days required in the Community Custody program. The program enables Jones to perform services outside of the MDC while wearing an ankle monitor.

The four days of service required come from Jon Jones’ arrest in March. ‘Bones’ had pleaded guilty to driving under the driver’s influence and was therefore punished for his actions.

“A local light heavyweight UFC champion is now sitting on an ankle monitor. In March, Jon Jones was arrested a second time for driving under the influence. Jones pleaded guilty and began spending four days in the MDC’s custody program as part of today’s consent. This allows Jones to serve outside of the MDC while wearing an ankle monitor. “

Jon Jones was most recently at the UFC 247 event in Houston in February, where he won a unanimous win over Dominick Reyes to keep his light heavyweight title.

‘Bones’ then showed interest in a super fight with heavyweight knockout artist Francis Ngannou. But unfortunately for fight fans, the negotiations for the proposed competition fell apart.

According to UFC President Dana White, Jon Jones called “Deontay Wilder-Geld” for a fight with “The Predator”, which is why a deal never came about.

Jones was not satisfied with White about these comments, and accused his boss of telling lies to fight fans in the hope of tarnishing his legacy.

Jon Jones said he had no intention of returning to the UFC until Dana White and his company paid him what he thought was worth.

‘Bones’ has also recently verbally cleared its light heavyweight world title, suggesting that UFC are bringing Dominick Reyes and Jan Blachowicz together to fight for the vacant belt.
