“On July 1st, we planned something huge with the Blues,” announced the telecommunications company.
“We don’t want to give away the game yet, so be sure to go back.”
The mockery of the announcement comes when the exterior of Stamford Bridge takes on some sort of restyling.
The photos of the players in the Chelsea kit have been replaced by those players in the new Nike kit.
Chelsea fans will have to wait for confirmation for the new streak, which is expected to arrive in the next few days.
“Chelsea FC is a great match for Three: we share the same values and we both play to win,” said Dave Dyson, CEO of Three UK.
“This partnership is a great way to kick off 2020 when we are building the UK’s fastest 5G network and Chelsea are building the best team.
“Chelsea FC is made up of many teams in one club – and it’s important for us that this sponsorship covers not only the men’s team, but also the women’s team and the academy’s team.”
