The patient and Mihálik donated the victory over Sparta to the deceased Čišovský

Pilsen strikers Tomáš Chorý and Ondřej Mihálik dedicated a home victory 2: 1 over Sparta to former defender Viktoria Marián Čišovský, who today succumbed to the ALS disease at the age of 40. For the authors of the goals, the match of the third round of the group for the title of the superstructure of the first league was mentally and physically demanding.

“We had no choice but to show on the field what Cup the warrior had been all his life. The victory was mainly for him,” said Mihalik in a media recording. “I’m really happy that we sent the prize to Marian and that his whole family was here,” added the Sick.

The sad news caught the other team table in the morning. The general manager of the West Bohemian club, Adolf Šádek, also spoke in the locker room. “It was definitely annoying when we met here. We were all sad. Mr. Šádek and Mr. Coach (Adrian Guľa) came to the cabin, saying that it was just bullshit,” said Mihalik.

“Probably everyone who found out got a heartbeat. Not only here in Pilsen, but throughout the Czech and Slovak Republics. The news is terribly sad and cannot be described in words.” added Sick.

The 25-year-old replaced the injured teammate Jean-David Beauguel in the 24th minute. Shortly after the change of sides, he opened the score with his head from the corner and, as he celebrated the goal, he pointed his fingers at the sky and then the black ribbon. In the 65th minute, Chorý prepared the second goal for Mihálik.

“I mainly want to help the team, which is a priority for me. The goal and assistance are really just a spice for me that we managed the match. Marián can now rest in peace,” stated a native of Olomouc and a pupil.

With his goal, Mihálik celebrated Friday’s signing of a three-year contract with Pilsen, which bought it from Alkmaar, the Netherlands, after a year of hosting. “I’m glad that I spiced up the performance with a winning goal after a great pass from Tomáš Chorý. We practice it every training. We agreed together that as soon as it gets into the line, I’ll sprint there and Tomáš will always find me,” praised the twenty-three-year offensive universal.

“It was challenging, it was very warm. The pace of the match was quite high, it was played up and down. We are very happy that we managed it and at least sent Marián a win like this,” added Mihálik.
