The Juventus sporting director downplayed the talk about a Premier League move for Adrien Rabiot.

It was a mixed first season for Italy rabiot, who joined them after the PSG contract expires in 2019. The midfielder has already been linked with a start.

Before joining Juventus, Rabiot attracted interest from the Premier League. And speculation about a move to England has rekindled in recent weeks.

Reports say that Carlo Ancelotti is interested in bringing Rabiot to Everton. However, It was therefore suggested that Juventus would only allow him to leave if they got a stellar defender in return.

Manchester United is also said to have made contact with its representatives. Once again, though, the financial aspects of the deal can end it.

And all of Rabiot’s remaining chances of moving to the Premier League seem to have been excluded by Fabio Paratici. The Juventus sporting director insists that the midfielder’s slow midfielder in Turin does not mean he will be transferred.

“Let’s not forget that Rabiot is in his first year in Italy and the first year is always special,” he said Sky Sport Italia.

“At the start of the season, we were able to see the same doubts about Matthijs de Ligt, who was the best defender in the Champions League [with Ajax last season] at the age of 19. Now I see that he has a different opinion of him.

“Rabiot also came to PSG after six months of inactivity. He had to catch up with his physical condition.

“Having said that, he is a great player, someone who is very important for Juventus today and will be very important for the future.”
