The Croatian midfielder from Barcelona can be offered to PSG

32-year-old Ivan Rakitić is a player that Barcelona wants to download as soon as possible because his club contract ends after the next season. With numerous inclusions of the Croat in the alleged Lautaro deal, Rakitić, however, cannot find a team that can afford it in any way, not even his former favorite Sevilla team.

On the other hand, Paris Saint Germain has always had an eye for the Croatian, but Barcelona has never really been in the mood to sell it. However, a new Sport report says Catalans are ready to offer Ivan Rakitić to Paris Saint-Germain this season because Barca is desperate to find a buyer, so he doesn’t lose him in a free transfer.

PSG was fond of Rakitić, but it was the midfielder who refused the club’s offers previously. He was even included in the partial exchange with Neymar, although PSG accepted the idea, the Croatian rejected it. Even before the exchange deal, PSG had waned to buy it right away, but the Blaugranas convinced him to stay in the club and declined their offer.

This new rumor can be taken with a pinch of salt because how much Catalans could be interested in selling Rakitić, but it depends on the 32 year old leaving the club which seems very unlikely, considering the current situation.

In addition, the Barcelona council is willing to unload the Chilean Arturo Vidal in some way and to reorganize his midfield once lost for the next season after selling Arthur Melo recently.
