(Reuters) – South African golfer Dylan Frittelli will miss the Rocket Mortgage Classic at Detroit Golf Club this week after testing positive for COVID-19, the PGA Tour said.

Frittelli, who missed the cut at the Connecticut Travelers Championship, is the fourth golfer to test positive since the U.S. Elite Tour resumed on June 11th.

“I have no problems and feel physically great. I was surprised and disappointed to learn about the positive test,” said Frittelli, adding that he would go through a phase of self-isolation.

“I look forward to going on tour again as soon as this is certain,” he said.

The PGA Tour stated here in a statement that it conducted contact tracking after Frittelli returned the positive result, but did not recommend additional testing at this time.
