SC Austria Lustenau loses against SV Horn at Mählich farewell

Roman Mählich suffered a defeat in his last match on Austria Lustenau’s coaching bench. The Vorarlbergs lost on Friday in the 25th round of the second league in their own stadium against SV Horn with 1: 2 and thus slipped to the eleventh place. The Lower Austrians improved to ninth place.

Philipp Siegl (22nd) and Florian Sittsam (26th / penalty) quickly put the guests in the lead, Ronivaldo (69th) made the Lustenauer the only goal. The match was kicked off due to a thunderstorm that was a good ten minutes late.

Mählich and this year’s ÖFB Cup finalist had agreed on Thursday to terminate the contract on June 30, a successor has not yet been presented. Austria’s record of the last eight league games is six defeats and two draws, the last four matches have all been lost.
