PGA TOUR member Jason Day requested a COVID-19 test prior to the third round of the Travelers Championship, with negative test results at 9:15 a.m. on Saturday before its start time. Originally planned to play at 8:09 am, Day was reassigned as a single as a precautionary measure under the PGA TOUR’s health and safety protocols.
All follow-up tests due to a possible contact with Denny McCarthy, who withdrew on Friday before the second round, were negative.
