Ole Gunnar Solskjaer reveals how Manchester United helped Anthony Martial adapt to role no. 9

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer revealed that the club’s forwards have gone through extra finishing training as they enter a crucial part of the season.

Solskjaer praised the efforts of his trio forward and launched a challenge for the rest of the team ahead of the game against the Canaries.

United have only scored six league goals from kicks this season, six fewer than Manchester City and Liverpool, and Solskjaer believes his team should find more bottom of the net from dead ball situations given the height in the team.

He added: “I think it is important that you know that the goals will come from different positions.

“We also have midfielders who can score goals. I’d like to score a little more on sets on set with that team’s size.

“But I was happy with Marcus, Anthony and Mason and everyone else who comes in.

“The position of center forward in which I played is so important for them to achieve the goals of trust. I think all of them have done really well this season.”
