Mönchengladbach en Ligue des champions

The 34th and last day of the Bundesliga was pretty crazy on the other side of the Rhine.

On the nine fields where the matches of the 34th day of the German championship took place this Saturday, no less than 34 goals were scored, an average of more than 3.5 average achievements per match! So there was a show, despite the empty stands, and the various expected verdicts fell.

Thuram and Pléa in C1

The Borussia Monchengladbach, by winning against Hertha Berlin (2-1), preserved its fourth place synonymous with qualification in the Champions League. Marcus Thuram, Alassane Pléa and so on will accompany the Bayern Munich, the Borussia Dortmund and the RB Leipzig in C1 next season. Conversely, it is therefore the Bayer Leverkusen of Moussa Diaby which remains at the quay, despite its success (1-0) against Mainz at the same time.

What a goal of Cuisance!

The partners of Kai Havertz still have one goal in mind, to seek victory in the German Cup against Bayern Munich. The troupe of Hans-Dieter Flick did not ease off, and offered a new box, in Wolfsburg (0-4). A match in which Frenchman Mickaël Cuisance signed his first goal under the Bavarian colors.

Dortmund corrected at home

At the back of the pack, the Fortuna Düsseldorf is finally relegated, while the Werder Bremen can still save its skin during a jump-off against a survivor of the Bundesliga 2. Note also the successful farewells from Timo Werner at RB Leipzig, since the future striker of Chelsea signed a double for the victory of his family in Augsburg (1-2). In addition, Borussia Dortmund coasted, swept (0-4) by Hoffenheim at Signal Iduna Park.
