Manchester United only plans to pursue Kai Havertz if they miss Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund, reports say. Both have been associated with moves to Old Trafford as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer strives for a fruitful and successful summer transfer window. However, it seems that the chances of both players entering the theater of dreams are currently slim.
Solskjaer believes Manchester United is only two or three new entrants away from becoming an important force again.
He has seen all five of his signings at Old Trafford stand out. Daniel James, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Harry Maguire, Bruno Fernandes and Odion Ighalo have proven to be worthwhile.
Now United hopes to land Sancho.

United thinks Sancho can spend a decade in Old Trafford, and although Dortmund won’t let him go for less than £ 100m, they are determined to make a deal.

And Chelsea also want to sign Havertz – although Frank Lampard has insisted that no offer has yet been made for the Bayer Leverkusen star.
In the meantime, Solskjaer recently admitted that he wasn’t sure how the coronavirus crisis would affect his team’s spending this summer.
