Krzysztof Piątek summed up the Bundesliga season “We will fulfill our dreams”

“Our main goal has been achieved. Next season we will fight to make our dreams come true. Thank you for your support during the pandemic. I hope that we will meet soon at the stadium!” – wrote Friday on Instagram.

The striker moved to the German capital in January with AC Milan for around 27 million euros. The Pole hoped for a regular game in Herthta, after a few days he scored his debut goal in the cup match against Schalke Gelsenkirchen. Later, however, Piątek’s situation got complicated, the striker clearly lost his good disposition, and, as a consequence, also a place in the basic “eleven” of the team, agreeing to be a substitute for the experienced 35-year-old Vedada Ibisevic, who was experiencing his second youth in Berlin.

At the end of the season, however, he managed to return to the squad and scored the goal with Eintracht Frankfurt and assisted with Bayer Leverkusen. In the last round, however, he failed to surprise Borussia Moenchengladbach.
