Kid Rock and golfer John Daly gave us the musical collaboration that we didn’t know we needed

John Daly and Kid Rock are two of the most eccentric celebrities who are currently in the public eye. Both men are known as cheeky and highly individualistic people who have been involved in various controversies over the years. Daly and Kid Rock are famous for their successes in very different arenas but have a spirit similar to rock and roll, which is based on doing what they want, whenever they want. Doing what the two want includes being friends with each other and even recording a song together.

Who is golfer John Daly?

Daly is one of the most colorful personalities in the long and mostly distinct history of golf. Known for his unique fashion style and irregular play style, Daly is one of the best known names in his sport despite having rather limited success. The golfer’s nickname is “Long John” as Daly is famous for his ability to drive the ball over extraordinary long distances. Daly’s biggest hits on the green came in the early and mid-90s. In 1991, when Daly was just a rookie, he won the PGA championship which is one of the four most important events in the game. This performance earned Daly a large following, and also won the PGA Rookie of the Year during the year. Daly’s other high profile victory was in the 1994 Open Championship, one of the oldest and most prestigious golf tournaments. Daly is also involved in the music industry, as he has released two studio albums and is a good friend of several country music stars, including Kid Rock.

Kid Rock and Daly made many appearances together, primarily as a couple in celebrity golf tournaments. The two also share their strong appreciation and support for Donald Trump. Kid Rock thanks Daly for introducing him to the game of golf, which allows him to drink beer and smoke cigars during competitions. The appearance of drinking and smoking also appeals to Daly, who is known for having fun, even while on the field. The two have a fairly close relationship, since Daly stays at Kid Rock’s home near Grand Blanc, Michigan every year during the Buick Open. The golfer and the musician are so close that Daly provided the support voice on the Kid Rock album Rock N Roll Jesus, to which Daly also had the honor of nominating and making an appearance. The song in which Daly is present is entitled Half your age and twice as hot. Daly’s contribution to the track is rather short, as the golfer says that the phrase “It is time I found a good woman” as he opens a can of beer. Daly and Kid Rock also participate in Daly’s profession, as the two often play golf together. Daly’s function on the album isn’t his only musical accomplishment, as he released two albums My life is I only know one way. The albums feature appearances of country legends such as Darius Rucker, Willie Nelson and Johnny Lee. Kid Rock hasn’t made an appearance on a Daly album yet, but the two friends may collaborate once again, especially since Daly doesn’t participate in golf tournaments more often than once.
