Jose Mourinhos Tottenham is one point ahead of Sheffield United in the Premier League table
Chris Wilder, head of Sheffield United, insists that Jose Mourinho remains one of the greatest managers of modern times, while his team is preparing to welcome Tottenham on Thursday.
Mourinho has won 23 major honors in four different countries, including three Premier League titles in two spells at Chelsea, but the Portuguese have had to face some criticism in recent years as his star is retiring.
Mourinho was appointed by Tottenham in November, eleven months after he was released from Manchester United with a mandate to end the 12-year-old trophy drought, and Wilder couldn’t speak better about the 57-year-old.

“Without a doubt, he’s one of the greatest in modern football. He’s won trophies everywhere,” said the Blades boss.
“You are always judged, aren’t you? You are judged as a manager, you are judged as a player and you are always judged as a team in the short term.
“For me, it’s the only time I think about it when he’s done, and I think that’s the only time I can judge it. I’m a big fan of his.”

John Lundstram is a new injury doubt for the Blades after an arm injury in the FA Cup loss to Arsenal forced him on Sunday. The midfielder will be scanned on Tuesday.
Wilder said that defender Jack O’Connell was “back on the grass” after the impact training injury, which has excluded him since the restart, and he is being rated.
