Football fans in the Big Easy on Friday were eager to discover the first glimpse of Jameis Winston in a New Orleans Saints uniform – well, sort of – and our guess is that they were quite surprised.
The longtime quarterback of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers posted a photo of him on Instagram in a Saints helmet, and to say that his neck looks extremely bizarre would be an understatement.

“I just like the way the helmet sparkles with my melanin!” read the legend of Winston.
We don’t disagree, but neither can we ignore the ridiculous neck length of the old global first choice here. Was it always like that? Have the Bucs never posted profile photos of their former gunman during his five-year stint in Tampa?
It’s really anyone’s guess. What is so strange is that the helmet seems to suit him perfectly. Neither are we denigrating the physical characteristics of Winston. We are just used to the fact that NFL players have hardly any necks under their respective helmets.
If nothing else, this image is further proof that Winston is one of a kind.
