In an explosive new interview, Sam Burgess starts a devastating attack on the former teammate

Sam Burgess met a former teammate in a crushing new Australian interview on the Matty Johns Show.

Burgess moved from the league to the Union in 2014. However, the change did not work after the unsuccessful World Cup in England.

Coming from the NRL-awarded Rabbitohs, massive hype had surrounded Burgess’ arrival from the league to the Union in the hope of asserting himself in Lancaster’s plans for the World Final in England.

Burgess was recently involved in an online controversy with former Bath trainer Mike Ford.

Burgess was signed to Bath until the end of 2015, but Rabbitoh’s owner Russell Crowe secured his release overnight and he was quickly on his way back to Australia. While he was flying, Ford made media in England that were straightforward for Burgess.

This new controversy comes after an argument with former South Sydney Rabbitohs teammate Issac Luke.

The couple played together in a rugby league campaign in 2014 before going their separate ways.

Luke was heavily criticized this weekend after pictures appeared of him laughing with opponents after losing to his new Brisbane Broncos team.

When Burgess was interviewed in the photos, he had these damning comments about his former teammate.

“With Issac, I can understand that he has been there for two minutes and is unlikely to appreciate the situation they are in,” said Burgess.

“If I were an older player, I would be dirty. And I would say Issac, buddy, we’re not going to do that here, and then he wouldn’t be doing it next time.

“It should hurt you to lose as many points against a lesser opponent and lose five in a row. I would be right in the shed, I’m dirty. “

Luke responded to Burgess’ comments shortly after the interview with the Englishman with a tweet.

Another tweet followed with a message to his former teammate.
