Herry IP Describes Men’s Double Evaluation After PBSI Tournament

jpnn.com, JAKARTA – PBSI’s men’s doubles head coach, Herry Iman Pierngadi revealed many things that must be evaluated from the appearance of six men’s doubles at the PBSI Home Tournament Mola TV event.

For three days, Herry IP conducted an assessment of the performance of their students.

Herry expressed his appreciation for the appearance of Fajar Alfian / Jeremiah Erich Yoche Yacob Rambitan who became the best couple in the competition.

According to Herry, Fajar / Jeremiah could perform consistently from the first match to the fifth match.

In the last match, Friday (6/26), Fajar / Jeremiah defeated Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo / Moh. Reza Pahlevi Isfahani with a score of 21-18, 21-18.

“At the beginning of this tournament, I still could not predict who the champion was, because the strength of all pairs was evenly distributed. However, after three or four matches, I saw Fajar / Yere (Jeremiah) be the champion, because they played so consistently,” Herry told Indonesian Badminton.

According to Herry, communication between the more senior Fajar and younger Jeremiah was also one of the keys to the success of this impromptu duet.

“Previously, Yere often had errors, but it was very clear that Dawn was guiding. He gave input, gave enthusiasm and said not to be slack, had to focus. In the deciding match, they in the second game had chased the numbers with Kevin / Reza, then Dawn gave input to Yere, and Yere can run, “Herry explained.
