Girona trembles as visitors: t the second worst record in the league

With the regular season getting closer and closer to the end, yesterday Pep Lluís Martí told the La Rosaleda press room that Girona “must also win away from home” and that adding points away from Montilivi “is a subject pending for the next matches ». If this goal is set now the staff may go a little late, considering how well they have performed so far. There are many aspects to improve the team, which in Malaga showed the many shortcomings that make the goal of getting to Primera an increasingly difficult mission. To the obvious lack of aim (if Stuani is not quite right, there is no way) is added the poor baggage as a visitor. Or ominous, rather. The numbers on the outside are unsuitable for a promotion aspirant. Basically because Girona’s record, in this respect, is the second worst in the whole category.

There are 18 trips this season. Well it has only been won in three fields. 0-3 in Racing, 0-1 in Fuenlabrada and 1-3 in Extremadura. They make up the statistic five draws because the rest are defeats: a total of ten. The balance is frightening: 14 points out of 54 possible. If it does not, only a quarter of the possible points. Outside there are 17 goals in favor for 26 that have been conceded. The numbers don’t come out. Only Numancia has a worse record, with 12 points in the same number of departures. It is curious to see how the leather of the category, Racing, or also the other teams that currently occupy a place in the relegation to the Second Division B (Extremadura, Lugo and Oviedo) have better numbers as visitors and thus surpass a whole Girona, called to go up yes or yes to First.
