Full Arsenal team revealed for the Sheffield United FA Cup quarter-final clash

Arsenal face Sheffield United with the goal of winning two straight wins after Thursday’s 2-0 win over Southampton.

The Gunners are 90 minutes from a Wembley semi-final, but in their own way, Chris Wilder’s Sheffield United team stood out, enjoying a successful first season in the Premier League.

Mikel Arteta will be tempted to keep a side similar to what emerged with three points from St Mary’s but Arsenal have a game against Norwich midweek later, so the Gunners’ boss may have to rotate to keep his team fresh.

Some players are definitely out, with Bernd Leno sidelined after suffering a knee injury against Brighton.

The German was sent off during the first half of the Gunners’ 2-1 defeat against Brighton after an embarrassing landing following a collision with Neal Maupay.

However, his problem is not as serious as feared for the first time, and he may return in six weeks.

Lucas Torreira still lacks the clarity of the game and is expected to return to full training next week, while Calum Chambers is still out and recovering from his anterior cruciate ligament injury.

Pablo Mari will no longer play this season after spraining his ankle ligaments during Manchester City, but David Luiz is available again after serving the suspension of the two games.

Gabriel Martinelli is also out for the rest of the season after injuring his left knee in training, but Cedric Soares should be available for selection after the weekend.

Full Arsenal team: Emiliano Martinez, Matt Macey, James Hillson, Hector Bellerin, Kieran Tierney, Socrates, Shkodran Mustafi, David Luiz, Rob Holding, Pigs Kolasinac, Harry Clarke, Zech Medley, Dani Ceballos, Mesut Ozil, Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Bukayo Saka, Matteo Guendouzi, Joe Willock, Granit Xhaka, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette, Eddie Nketiah, Nicolas Pepe, Reiss Nelson, Trae Coyle.
