France international Layvin Kurzawa signed a new agreement with Paris Saint Germain which will keep him at the club until 2024, Ligue 1 champions announced Monday.

“Paris Saint-Germain is happy to announce the extension of the four-season Layvin Kurzawa contract,” said the capital’s club in a statement.

The extension of Kurzawa’s left-back contract comes just one day before the deadline, five years after his arrival from his rival Ligue 1 Monaco.

Kurzawa, who has made 24 appearances in all competitions this season, will be available for the French Cup and League Cup finals in July, as well as the Champions League “Final 8” tournament in Lisbon in August.

The 27-year-old was largely deployed to support Spanish left-back Juan Bernat, but received support from PSG coach Thomas Tuchel on Friday.

“Layvin had a very good and reliable season. If we can have him and Juan we will be very strong in that position (left back),” said Tuchel.

Layvin has played 123 times in all competitions for PSG since arriving five years ago, and has made 13 appearances for France, scoring one goal.
