Former Slovak international Marián Cisovsky dies of ALS at the age of 40

Sad news from Slovakia, where Marian Cisovsky passed away. The former defender played 15 times for the Slovakia national team in his career.

Cisovsky suffered from ALS muscle disease. It is also that illness that caused him to die on Sunday at the age of 40.

Cisovsky spent most of his career with Viktoria Plzen in the Czech Republic. It is also with that club that the defender of Champions League football could taste.

In 2015 he ended his career. The muscle disease had already been diagnosed with him a year earlier.
