The first football team of Al-Ahly Club conducted the second medical smear to ensure the safety of its members from the Corona virus, on the sidelines of the team’s training on Sunday.
Maran started the first group of players at 8:30 am, which included Ramadan Sobhi, Marwan Mohsen, Sharif Ekrami, Amr Al-Sulaya, Ahmed Al-Sheikh, Mohamed Magdi “Afsha”, Ahmed Fathi, Ali Lutfi, Junior Ajayi, Mahmoud Metwally, Mahmoud Wahid, Muhammad Shukri and Arabi Badr.
Whereas, Salih Juma went to a session in the gym.
Hamdi Fathi and Muhammad Mahmoud, the duo still recovering from a previous injury, performed a session in the gym in the midst of a qualifying program.
Goalkeeper coach Yancon Michel, led by Sheriff Ekrami and Ali Lotfy, carried out strong exercises.
The second group of players underwent various physical exercises. Goalkeeper duo Mohamed El Shennawy and Mostafa Shoubir performed strong technical and physical exercises.
The second group included Walid Suleiman, Muhammad Al-Shennawi, Muhammad Hani, Yasser Ibrahim, Geraldo, Alio Badji, Alio Diang, Ayman Ashraf, Shadi Radwan, Mustafa Shuber, Ali Maaloul, Muhammad Fakhry, Hamdi Fathi, Mahmoud Abdel-Moneim “Kahraba” and Mohamed Mahmoud.
Al-Ahly resumed its training after the Ministry of Sports gave the green light to the clubs to resume their training.
The Egyptian Football Association is discussing with the clubs the possibility of resuming the Egyptian Premier League next month.
However, some teams refuse to resume the tournament, citing their lack of time, the absence of foreign players and the fear of an outbreak of the Coruna virus.
The league was suspended last March due to Coruna, and Al-Ahly tops the championship standings with a score of 49 points.
