Malaysia U-19 national team strength will increase if the player of Malaysian descent, Jaami Qureshi is included in the squad for the U-19 Asian Cup 2020.

The U-19 2020 Asia Cup will be held in Uzbekistan on October 14-31, 2020.

Currently, Jaami plays as a striker in the Brighton youth team. He became the main prey of Malaysia’s U-19 national team along with the attacker who was associated with the Belgian club, Luqman Hakim Shamsudin.

Jaami has Malaysian blood from his mother from Manjol.

According to U-19 team manager Datuk Kamarul Ariffin, he was happy to see Jaami’s action and would go abroad to meet the player.

“The Brighton players who have represented the England U-15 team are very interested in me,” said Datuk Kamarul Ariffin.

“God willing if we could go abroad, I would go to see myself and monitor his progress as Brighton U-16 won with Arsenal 2-1, and it made me happy to see him,” he said.
