Dortmund ended the league with a shameful home debacle. Bremen avoided a direct descent

With a 6: 1 win in the last 34th round over Cologne, the Werder Bremen footballers avoided relegation from the German league and a draw awaits them.

Goalkeeper Jiří Pavlenka and defender Theodor Gebre Selassie, who took the assist, also took part in the high victory. Together with the last Paderborn, Düsseldorf descends, losing 0: 3 to the Union of Berlin.

Pavel Kadeřábek passed Andrej Kramarič to one of his four goals in the match against the second Dortmund, which Hoffenheim won 4: 0. Leipzig kept third place thanks to two goals by Tim Werner and a 2: 1 win in Augsburg. After nine matches, Tomáš Koubek got a chance in the home goal, on the other hand, forward Patrik Schick was missing from the nomination due to injury.

In the last round, Bremen had to rely on Düsseldorf’s hesitation and best to beat Cologne by at least four goals to score better than Fortuna in the event of a tie. Werder managed to fulfill this already during the first half, when Juja Osako, Milot Rashica and Niclas Füllkrug scored gradually between the 22nd and 29th minute.

Düsseldorf lost to the Union Berlin after the first half, and Bremen also increased its score after a break. Gebre Selassie prepared Osak’s second goal for 5-0 with an accurate return pass, who managed to recover from an injury due to which he did not finish the last match with Mainz.

Bremen overtook Düsseldorf by one point with its second home win and reached 16th place. They will learn the playoffs after Sunday’s climax of the second Bundesliga, Heidenheim and Hamburg are in third place in the game, and in theory they can fall by the second place at the moment.

Kramarič was the first Hoffenheim player to score four goals in one Bundesliga match. The Croatian forward opened the score in the eighth minute after Kadeřábek’s pass with an exhibition shot from behind the lime. He added another goal after half an hour and ended the hat-trick shortly after the break. He closed the score in the 50th minute from the penalty.

Hoffenheim finished in sixth place with a surprisingly high win and will play the basic group of the European League next year, as well as the fifth Leverkusen. The seventh Wolfsburg is waiting for the preliminary round.

Despite the defeat, Dortmund remained second and will play the Champions League next year. Like Mönchengladbach and Leipzig, with whom Timo Werner said goodbye with two goals and closed his scoring account with 28 league goals in a season. The German striker will move to Chelsea in London after the season.
