Several thousand euros and large cylinder cars seized against the backdrop of a heron traffic whose responsibilities remain to be clarified … Investigators from the Research Brigade (BR) of the Poitiers gendarmerie company have dismantled trafficking of hrones in southern Vienne, between Chaunay and Genouill but whose ramifications affect the Charente (Champniers, Balzac and Angoulme), Deux-Svres (Sauz-Vaussais) and even Agen (Tarn-et-Garonne). More than 70 soldiers from the Poitiers company, the gendarmerie surveillance and intervention platoon (PSIG), with reinforcements from the companies of Montmorillon, Angoulme and Niort, were engaged during the arrests of 11 people in total, on June 23 .
Six people were present, three men (including two already incarcerated) and three women, Friday June 26, 2020, before the correctional court of Poitiers. They asked for time to prepare their defense. The three women were placed under strict judicial control with compulsory pointing at the police station and the Angoulme gendarmerie company. The three men were placed in provisional detention pending the dismissal of the trial on September 23, 2020.
