“De Bruyne has had enough of Man City!” – Bruce jokes that Newcastle has signed the Belgian star

Newcastle United was eliminated from the FA Cup on Sunday by Manchester City, but Steve Bruce clearly liked what he saw from Kevin De Bruyne.

“I think everyone needs some clarity,” he said after the game. “And if I have to believe that it is the Premier League that stops all negotiations, they have to make a decision sooner or later.

“It is not healthy for anyone. As I said personally, we have another game on Wednesday and we have a wonderful opportunity.

“We cannot use that [the takeover] as an excuse, but we need some clarity and we put it to bed one way or another. “
