Cross sees practical problem at restart: ‘Due to the Covid test, I am not allowed to smoke for 12 hours’

Upon arrival in Milton Keynes, all players are required to undergo a Covid test prior to the PDC Summer Series and then in isolation for 12 hours at the adjacent hotel. “I am really looking forward to throwing tournaments again, but those 12 hours in isolation also means that I am not allowed to smoke for 12 hours, quite a challenge for me,” said Cross at Sun Sport.

“Well, maybe this should be the impetus to quit smoking,” Voltage continues. Smoking rooms are said to be present in the Marshall Arena, where the tournament takes place.

Furthermore, players will not be allowed to sit at the same table. “That will feel a bit strange, although I don’t mind separating, the most important thing is that we can take action again.”
