Northampton Town players, management and officials arrived late at Sixfields last night to cheer the fans who had gathered in front of the PTS Academy Stadium late Monday night. Fans were denied the opportunity to see the game against Exeter in person at Wembley because it was played behind closed doors. Northampton drove to victory, prevailed against Exeter and secured their place in League One the following season.
