Chris Sutton left Arsenal’s Mesut Ozil in pieces claiming to be a “bad smell” at the Emirates stadium.
Ozil hasn’t played a single minute of football in the Premier League since the British top flight returned last week.
The German still has a year to execute his contract with Emirates, although the Gunners are allegedly eager to unload the midfielder this summer.
But selling Ozil is easier said than done, mainly because of his £ 350,000 a week contract he signed during Arsene Wenger’s last season as manager.

And Sutton entered the Arsenal hierarchy for handling the situation and also believes that Ozil has left Mikel Arteta.
He told BBC Radio 5 Live: “What’s the plan? Who runs the club? What does Edu do?
“Who is carrying out the transfer policy? Why Saka, who was a shining light for them, why did he have a year left?
“So look at the situation of Ozil and Ozil is like a bad smell at the club. It really is.
“It is a nightmare for Arteta. Having to come in and fight with that. A guy who is eating huge wages in the club. Who is not interested.
“Arteta has given him some support but he’s making up an apology for him. Ozil owes Arsenal much more than what is actually given.
