Fox Footy commentators were hysterical after Brisbane Lions star Charlie Cameron missed a simple free kick on goal on Sunday.
During the third quarter of their clash against the Adelaide Crows in Gabba, the Lions led by 22 points when Cameron received a free kick 15 yards from the post.
The 25-year-old scored the goal 99 times out of 100 attempts, but on this occasion he added a little too much flair to the banana kick. The Footy played against his former club and crashed into the post for a deficit, and the commentators cackled.

AFL star Dwayne Russell could hardly believe that Cameron wasn’t trying a standard drop punt.
“It’s drop-punt territory for most, but the corner has a little bit more flair and craftsmanship,” Russell said Fox Footy.
“Oh my god, that will be repeated in some places.”
Hawthorn legend Dermott Brereton could hardly suppress his laugh and giggled relentlessly after the butt was forgiven.
“You have to admit that he bites off a little more than he needs,” said Brereton with a muffled laugh.
“It is 12 meters away. Why wouldn’t you kick a drop punt?
“He may be a little more theatrical than he has to be on occasion.
“I love the motorcycle. I love cranking up. “
Russell replied, “Theater? He’ll really be off Broadway if he continues to put these kinds of acts together.
“Wow, missing there.”
On the couch Host Gerard Healy said bluntly, “If you can’t clear this up, you’re in trouble.”
Ex-team mate Luke Brown was determined to rub salt into the wounds and gave Cameron some advice and a powerful push after the botched shot.
Cameron’s mistake was the epitome of a shocking third quarter for Brisbane who failed to score in the 16th minute.
Although they had a considerable 40-point advantage at half-time, the deficit was reduced to just three goals at the start of the fourth quarter.
However, Cameron recovered by running a Mark of the Year candidate in the fourth quarter. He lunged on Reilly O’Brien’s shoulders to challenge Zac Bailey’s precise kick in a phenomenal effort near the 50-meter line.
“It’s a big three step jump, fantastic,” Brereton shouted in a comment.
“This will be a poster.”
Brereton said, “He’s going to set up a clinic in the last ten minutes.”

Instead of shooting at the goal, Cameron passed the ball on to teammate Hugh McCluggage, who fell behind.
After the last siren, Cameron admitted that he should have secured himself to score the goal.
“I got the ride I wanted (but) I went early,” said Cameron Fox Footy.
“I knew I was going to take a big ride with the big Reilly O’Brien and came down with it.
“Should have kicked the gate.”
Cameron ended the one-sided encounter with two goals, two deficits, nine exits and four marks.
The Queenslander represented Adelaide for four seasons before signing with Brisbane in 2018.
Cameron is usually a reliable goal scorer for the Lions – he scored four goals against Fremantle Dockers in round two in the first half.
Brisbane legend Jonathan Brown described Cameron as a “nightmare” for the opposing defenders.
“It’s one of the real X factors in the competition that you pay for. Even if you’re a supporter of the opposition, watch Charlie Cameron, ”Brown said earlier this month.
The Lions will meet Port Adelaide next weekend to do the fifth round in Gabba.
