Carey Price spoke to Montreal media yesterday for the first time in ages. And as reported on the site yesterday, he doesn’t seem fully convinced of the NHL’s return this summer.
That said, if he doesn’t seem to believe it too much, it’s different from 2013-2014. During the interview with journalists, the topic of 2013-2014 came up. And as Martin McGuire reported at 98.5, in his media interview, Price ended up touching on the topic of 2013-2014.
And according to him, the CH was really likely to make a good end of the road in the playoffs that year.
If I take the time to think about it for two minutes, there are things in my life that I have missed. – Price
The 98.5 reporter added that Price, with regret in his voice, said that that year could have been his and that of the Canadian.
Obviously, we are talking about the year when the CH saw Chris Kreider destroy the team’s hopes by hurting Price. This is the second time this week that the subject has been raised with actors from this series.

But it seems that the guard is not in the same frame of mind as it was six years ago. Today the star of a less talented club, he finds himself at the bottom of the playoff scale.
Yes, the Cerberus now trains in the facilities of its junior club in Tri City. That said, he does not receive any caliber shots from the NHL.
Or no short throw, frankly.
In a text published today by Arpon Basu, he said that goalkeeper # 31 of the CH is still in the United States. However, since the camp will start in exactly two weeks, he is in the United States and he must be placed in voluntary isolation for two weeks, the goalkeeper will not be able – unless he sees the NHL to obtain an exemption – to participate on the first day of camp.
Does he know things we don’t know about the two weeks? Will the NHL push its camps back a few days? We do not know.
But one thing is certain: Carey Price, like many other players, does not look like the most motivated of men in view of this return to the NHL summer game in a city to be named later.
Not as much as in 2013-2014, at least.
A lot of
– Nick Bjugstad could return to the game… but later in the playoffs, not against the Canadiens. So that’s nothing new for Montreal fans, in the end.

– Junior hockey is not healthy, let’s say.
Junior hockey is just emerging from a class action that cost him $ 30 million. But the damage will be even greater if he goes to court. A change of culture is obviously required. https://t.co/15LIADIfmX
