Cam Newton went from unemployed to decent odds to win the award for most useful player in the league.
In the latest MGM odds, Newton is at +2500 to win the MVP title for the 2020 regular season. This ties him to the ninth best MVP odds with Aaron Rodgers and Kyler Murray.
Now that Newton signs with the Patriots, it’s a tempting bet for the league’s MVP. New England is still in contention and Newton is the favorite to win his first job.
If Newton wins the title of MVP, he will join Peyton Manning as the only players to win the title of MVP with two different teams. Manning has won the MVP title four times with the Colts and once with the Broncos. Newton won the MVP title in 2015 with the Panthers.
