When Lionel Messi placed the ball just outside the box in the first half of the game against Celtic vigo, no one would imagine that he wouldn’t try a direct freekick.
The home side put two players on the line alongside the goalkeeper to defend the dead ball but the Argentine took an ace out of his sleeve.
With a clever pass, he found Luis Suarez inside the box and the Uruguayan striker headed the ball into the back of the net to give Barcelona the lead.
Sevilla did something similar at the Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium and the Blaugrana worked on their freekicks to face such situations.
