How did it feel to be wearing the start number again during the race? You can also see how you enjoy it from the photos.
The race is a bit of an exaggerated word, I took it more as a quality training, but the atmosphere engulfed me that I was quite up and running. I didn’t look for a while, but rather for heartbeats, I’m still careful.
Is returning to postpartum more difficult than you expected?
I took it slow, I ran out at the end of the sixth week, I ran at a pace of about seven minutes per kilometer for a long time. It’s a new experience for me, even when it comes to running technique, it’s not easy to look for the center of gravity, the breasts weigh something… (smile) Now I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to run faster, I can run an hour and a half at a time, so it feels good. But we’ll see how I get to the times I need.
Is it hard to find time for training? Are you running with a pram, for example?
No, Adélka is small for that, and I don’t think it’s suitable for training, for example, for a family trip. I always feed Adelka in the morning, then I run out, watched over by Martin, who takes good care of her, or grandmothers. I will move my training time by half an hour as needed.
So Adelka’s daughter is more of a calm child?
When someone breeds or swings her, she is calm. I feed her a lot, when she was born, so she catches up, but only during the day, she sleeps well.
You and your husband Martin sketched out the calendar of races before the birth, but the coronavirus pandemic changed the plans a lot. Do you now know where you should run?
We have a plan, but it depends on what is possible. I should probably run a half marathon in Olomouc and then a marathon in Valencia on December 6 as the first attempt to limit Tokyo, the next one would be in the spring in Prague.
Marcela Joglová is also considering a marathon in Valencia, the starting field will be really full when the window for meeting the limit opens again in December…
Exactly. I dealt with the manager, Malaga was in the game a week later, but in Valencia more competitors will run by the limit.
