Former Leeds United beneficiary Eddie Nkeitah will stay with Arsenal’s parent club for the remainder of the campaign, according to reports.

The 20-year-old striker spent the first half of the campaign with whites who joined a loan agreement throughout the season in the summer.

Nketiah, however, was called back to North London due to the lack of playing time after having made only two league games under the supervision of Marcelo Bielsa in West Yorkshire.

The Gunners Academy product has scored 19 appearances in all competitions for Leeds, scoring five goals before his return to the capital earlier this month.

Nketiah was to be sent on loan during the winter transfer window with United Bristol City championship rivals, Sheffield Wednesday and Nottingham Forest all keen to land his signature.

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has now opted to keep the England Under 21 forward with Premier League gear for the rest of the season.
