MAC Announces Revised Football Schedule for Tuesday, November 12

-

The Mid-American Conference (MAC) has announced a revised football schedule for Tuesday, November 12, 2019.

Changes were made to kick-off times and television on Tuesday during two MAC football games, due to weather forecasts that predict the potential for "heavy snowfall and extreme temperatures among teens with one-digit wind chills. " The changes were made in collaboration with ESPN.

The Broncos of West Michigan at the Ohio Bobcats game were previously scheduled for a kickoff of 7:30 pm (ET) on ESPN2. The game will remain on ESPN2, but the kickoff has been postponed from one hour to 18:30 ET.

The Eastern Michigan Eagles game at Akron Zips has also been improved. The sending of ESPNU had already been scheduled at 8:00 pm (Eastern Time). The game will start at 6:00 pm (ET) and will be televised by ESPNews.

"I would like to thank ESPN for making this possible," said Dr. Jon Steinbrecher, Commissioner of the CMA. "With the potential for extreme weather, the ability to advance these two games seemed the appropriate action."
