LVR Bombers host rugby game – Nelson Star

I.V. Rogers rugby players tuned up for the provinces with the Kootenay Zone Rugby Championships on Wednesday.

Junior and senior boys sides, as well as girls team, hosted teams of athletes from Castlegar, Cranbrook, Kimberley.

Seniors boyhood ended the season unbeaten and will try to defend their provincial championship May 29 to June 1 in Abbotsford.

The girls are in the meantime being visited by athletes to compete in provinces under the Kootenay banner.
