The ATP would have launched major maneuvers. The idea of ATP would be to stretch the Masters 1000 over two weeks from 2022, instead of one. Instead, 6 of the 38 ATP 250 tournaments would be moved to the second Masters 1000 weeks. A situation that is already causing some talk because these “smaller” tournaments should have struggled to attract big names. And their income would therefore logically drop …
