Pallacanestro Trieste general manager Michael Arcieri described the addition as a significant milestone for the club’s roster construction, emphasizing how the new center aligns with the organization’s culture and playing style. Arcieri noted that despite his relatively young age, Brajković arrives with a versatile, high-level skill set and a team-first mentality. According to club profiles, the Austrian big man features a 224-centimeter wingspan, providing a vital physical presence inside the paint alongside advanced pick-and-roll capabilities on both ends of the floor.

Global Pathway: From Dornbirn to Davidson

Brajković’s basketball journey began in his native Austria within the youth system of the Dornbirn Lions before he crossed the Atlantic in 2018 to play collegiate basketball at Davidson College. Operating under the guidance of coach Bob McKillop, Brajković logged four seasons with the Wildcats, compiling career averages of 11.8 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game. His standout senior campaign featured averages of 14.4 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 2.5 assists, earning him Atlantic 10 Conference Player of the Year honors, a selection to the First Team All-Atlantic 10, and an appearance in the NCAA tournament against Michigan State.

Professional Stops Across Europe and Serie A

Following his college career, Brajković transitioned to the professional ranks in Europe. His initial stop came in Spain with Río Breogán, followed by a productive tenure in Greece with Kolossos Rodou, where he posted averages of 14 points and 6.6 rebounds per game while shooting 67 percent from two-point range, a performance that earned him a spot in the Greek League All-Star Game. In the 2024–25 season, the center played in the Italian Serie A with Estra Pistoia, contributing 8.9 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks per contest while converting 58.8 percent of his field-goal attempts. A subsequent stop at Darüşşafaka in Istanbul yielded 8.8 points and 5.5 rebounds across 22 appearances, before his most recent move to Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana, where he split time between the ABA League and EuroCup en route to capturing the Slovenian national title.

International Career with Austria

Beyond his club commitments, Brajković has maintained a consistent presence within the Austrian national team program. After debuting in the junior selections in 2015, he starred at the 2017 FIBA U18 European Championship Division B, averaging 18.6 points and 10.6 rebounds to finish as the tournament’s second-leading rebounder. In recent years, he has been consistently called up to the senior national team, participating in the pre-qualifications for EuroBasket 2025 and the FIBA World Cup 2027 qualifiers, highlighted by a four-game stretch in 2025 where he averaged 15.3 points and 7.3 rebounds.

Trieste’s technical staff views Brajković as a traditional center equipped with modern capabilities, including low-post scoring with both hands, reads from the low post, effective pick-and-roll play, and offensive rebounding instincts.
