Friday’s opening action set the stage for the dramatic weekend, featuring a pair of hard-fought singles comebacks on home soil. Soon-woo Kwon battled past Dhakshineswar Suresh 3–6, 6–3, 6–4, while teammate Hyeon Chung also overcame a first-set deficit to defeat Nagal 2–6, 6–4, 7–5.
